Review: Miracles of Namiya General Store

Okay, this one is unexpectedly amazing that it doesn’t even need a super idol like Yamada to make it more stellar. The storyline, plot and the way the whole movie is put together is just, wow and are more than enough for its own magical brilliance. Go see it now! You won’t regret watching it. I couldn’t even see any flaw that I can criticize. Well, there’s Atsuya’s obvious hard-headedness (which will really irritate you to the core) but that’s part of the story and there’s a resolution to that! It’s part of the reasons that made it amazing, and which makes the Namiya General Store itself, spectacular. The store changed lives so much that time found its way to helping people even in the far-flung future, far beyond the death of Namiya-san which made his legacy live on to the lives of those he helped during his time.

The plot line was very interesting seeing how they are all tied together between the past and to the future. Although I felt that orphanage that they lived in (plot wise of it being sold) was very weak and thrown in to create some drama. Other than that the actors did a good job portraying their characters.
